ADIOS, OSSIMANDAS
By W.D. Nolledo
"Madam," Miles raised his head cockily, "say 'please' when you mention my private life, Johnny, where I come from, they make statues after him. He's the Achilles of Arizona; the Lochinvar of Love Company; the Montague of the Minors; the Byron of the Browning Automatic Rifle."
"And you are the Pushkin of the Paratrooops," Stella added.
"No. I'm the Pinocchio of Providence. I provide the punchline, the poetry and the protest, and all I'm really good for is the pinball machine. Watch me sometime, lady. All my ribbons come from the numbers."
