Slipping and sliding on a snow covered street
frozen toes, frigid hands, frosty nose.
Sweater, sweat pants, scarf and skates.
    Fearless snowball fights.
Ice skating on an icy pond.
    Loud laughs, gleeful giggles.
Building an igloo until fingers turn blue.
    Carefree, childlike capers.
Friends true and steadfast like the snow,
    Having a blizzard blast.
