for so the boys rule
by Camilo Antonio

Who were who are and who will be
The Westerns or the Eastern guys?
Who drop the bombs on innocents
And acid rains from chartered skies?

Who breed and nurture Torture Squads
And People's Liberationists?
Who fix the kids that come from Schools
With hardened jaws and fascist fists?

for so the boys rule as fathers had done:
the ones who act cool like sons of a gun

Who feed us with the daily news
Exciting us with bleeding streets?
Where are the children running to?
Where's hunger in commercial treats?

for so the boys rule as fathers had done
they know how to fool a beggar or nun

They know just how to reach their goals
With Mamas goading macho-right
They know just how to stay on top
Recycling droppings from their flight.

The missiles now are freely used
Like they'd done in Hiroshima
We still sense how they once had ruled
To rake the golds of Africa

for so the boys rule as fathers had done
and so some girls drool who want the same fun
