kiss the baby,
love the baby
by Jerry Grandea

Kiss the baby, love the baby,
she used to whisper
in her man's embrace,

Kiss the baby, love the baby,
the baby now gets
the love that belonged
to her boyfriend.

Kiss the baby, love the baby,
one day baby
will tell his Daddy,
when Daddy gets mad,

"I'm gonna tell Momma
not to marry you."

So he spoils his baby
with all the toys
mall windows
have to offer,

endures happy
couples
strolling by,

and prays for
the kisses
love
denied him.
